Bah, you all.  France had 72,000 troops, and the British

and allies had 68,000 troops, only when the Prussians turned up,

did Wellington outnumber Napoleon, and the old guard were already retreating,  

when Blucher come on to the battlefield FACT   The trouble is that most of these experts

are not doing any primary research.  They are just repeating the theatre production

version of events, with all the nationalist prejudices and racial stereotypes.

 If you actually read the letters and journals of people

who were there the battle takes a whole new complexion.
