Many stories were written about Native Americans, called also Indians, but the most I like Winnetou, he was my hero when I was teen-ager.He taught me about dignity .
The real name of the song is "The Gael" written by one of Scotland's most famous composers, Dougie MacLean. It was when Trevor Jones adapted it as the theme to the 1992 film Last of the Mohicans did people begin believing it was about Native Americans. Even though, it is a beautiful song and if this inspires you to have pride in whatever origin your ancestors may be, then I'm sure Mr. MacLean would be pleased.
The Who Quadrophenia is The Who's second full scale rock opera. Released in 1973 it peaked at number 2 in the UK Album Chart and the US Billboard Chart.
The story covers about five days in the life of Jimmy Cooper, a participant in the circa 1964 Mod lifestyle. Each of Jimmy's four personalities is associated with one of the four musicians in The Who.
A tough guy, a helpless dancer.
A romantic, is it me for a moment?
A bloody lunatic, I'll even carry your bags.
A beggar, a hypocrite, love reign o'er me.
In 1979 a film version of the album was released named Quadrophenia:
A Way of Life. It was this film that sparked the first Mod revival.
Thousands of young people instantly overnight became Mods.
Places such as Brighton once again came alive with the sound of scooters.===========================
